Nash, Paul (1889-1946)

Nash was an acclaimed artist during the First World War and a pioneering force in British art in the 1920s and 30s. Between 1940 and 1944 he was specially employed as an official war artist. He was fascinated with air subjects during the Second World War, joining the Ministry of Information to work on RAF subjects. Here he produced some of the finest paintings of the Second World War.
