Moynihan, Rodrigo, RA CBE (1910-1990)

Moynihan was closely associated with the Euston Road Group of painters before the war. He trained with the Royal Academy before transferring to the Camouflage Development & Training Centre, Farnham. Shortly after, he was invalided out and appointed as an official war artist. He painted portraits of the ATS, senior military personnel, eminent scientists, HRH Princess Elizabeth and the Prime Minister, Clement Attlee.
