Reconstruction
Published in 1918 by the Department of Soldiers' Civil Re-establishment, this bulletin detailed the government's progress in planning the post-war return of Canadian forces from overseas. The cover graphic depicts soldiers being released in Canada from the ghostly hands of a presumably caring state, to return to jobs in farming, industry, agriculture, forestry, and mining.
