British artistHewland, Elsie (b. 1901)Hewland studied at Sheffield College of Art from 1921 to 1924 and at the Royal Academy Schools, London, from 1926 to 1930. At the Academy Schools she was awarded the British Institute and Landseer Scholarships. The artwork in this exhibition
