WHAT A HOOF! August 1–2 10:30 a.m. to noon, 1 to 3:30 p.m. Grand Hall and Waterfall Court Step back in time and take part in a live horseshoe-making demonstration with a farrier, as you learn about the history of horseshoes and proper shoeing techniques to avoid breakage or excessive hoof wear. Then try for a “ringer” in a game of horseshoes, and create a special U-shaped craft for your own shoe! |
